Is this service free to use?

Yes, Community Notes Analyzer is completely free to use. We provide all analytics and insights at no cost to users. There are no premium features or paid subscriptions.

Where does the data come from?

All data displayed on our platform comes from the official Community Notes public datasets provided by X. This data is made available by X for research and analysis purposes and includes anonymized information about notes, ratings, and user contributions.

How frequently is the data updated?

Data updates are performed irregularly, typically every 1 week to 1 month, depending on when new data becomes available from the official Community Notes dataset. Please note that during data update processing, the website may be temporarily unavailable. Update processing typically takes approximately 10 hours to complete.

How accurate is the data?

We use the official publicly released Community Notes data, which provides a comprehensive but not complete picture. Important limitations include:

• Deleted notes are not included in the dataset
• Many note authors delete notes that receive "not helpful" ratings, and these deleted notes are not reflected in our statistics
• The data represents a snapshot at the time of dataset release
• Some Community Notes may not be included due to privacy or policy considerations

Why might some statistics seem different from other sources?

Differences in statistics can occur because deleted content is not included in public datasets. For example, if a contributor consistently deletes their poorly-rated notes, their success rate in our analytics will appear higher than their actual historical performance.

How is a note's language determined?

The public dataset does not say which language a note is written in, so we estimate it from the note text. Links and @mentions are removed first, then fastText's language identification model classifies the text. When that result is uncertain (for example, a short note written only in kanji, where Japanese and Chinese are hard to tell apart), the note is checked again with TypeSafe's Jev model, choosing among fastText's top candidates.

Notes that consist only of links or are too short to classify are counted as “Undetermined”. Because the language is an estimate, a small number of notes, especially ones that mix languages, may be classified incorrectly.

How do I search for notes?

Use the search bar on the Notes page to search for notes by keywords. You can also filter results by:

• Status: Helpful, Not Helpful, or Needs More Ratings
• Classification: Potentially misleading or Not misleading
• Author group: The modeling group the note author belongs to
• Language: The estimated language of the note text
• Sort: Newest first, Oldest first, or Most rated

How do the rankings work?

Our rankings are based on publicly available data and rank contributors by:

• Helpful notes: Number of notes rated as helpful
• Total notes: Total number of notes created
• Helpful rate: Percentage of notes rated as helpful
